I enjoy reading the e-edition of your newsletter. I posted your site link on my Facebook page, to remind people that our four legged friends need to be remembered everyday of the year. We are their voices.

My family and I were from out of town and were very interested in one of the shelters dogs. Bailey was such a good fit. The shelter was beyond friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for adding another member to our family.

We adopted a wonderful puppy from your shelter earlier this summer. He has become the constant companion to our other dog, Grete, and a friend to all of our three cats (he has finally stopped herding them around!). I wanted to thank you for the work you do and especially for your no-kill policy.
I noticed when I was looking at your adoptable cats that you have a number of cats that are FIV+. I'm so glad you decided to give these cats a chance. I had an FIV+ cat--a stray I found after he had been hit by a car--for more than 12 years: a happy, healthy, loving being.
Your caring attitude toward all animals--especially those who are most vulnerable--is really admirable.
Thank you so much for our new family member. And thank you even more for all the work you do every single day.

Just wanted to say Thank You for taking the time to answer my questions on a breeder in your area and steering me in the right directions to get the information I needed to make a decision on the puppy.
God Bless your organization and continue the good work you do .

Even though I didn't get my rescue Chihuahua from WRHS in Jan 2014 (from Orleans), I want to finally help our local shelter. I've always loved Chihuahuas & have had beautiful long-haired ones since 1989 (& short-hairs prior).
Rosi Grace (Jan 2014) is SO wonderful! She originally came from a puppy mill in KY. I HATE puppy mills. She's an older dog, but she & I are incredibly close. Such a Mommy's girl. We also have an 8-yr-old male named Pippin. He's very expressive. LOL
Sorry for going on so long. I am donating in the names of all our Chihuahuas: Chi-Chi, Paco, Rosi #1 (didn't want to change our newest girl's name), Pippin, & Rosi Grace & even the partially feral (neutered!) black cat that Pippin found named Shadow (he's such a docile, gentle cat). Whew, I can chatter! LOL
I so admire the work WRHS is doing & only wish I could help more. God bless you all!

We love Lincoln and we haven't stopped laughing yet at his funny antics. Thank you for letting us have him. He is a pure joy.
